Application Process

2023/24 ADMISSION

All learners seeking admissions to The Learning Garden should complete the Admission Application Form to apply to The Learning Garden Abraar (JK to Grade 3).  Please screenshot the confirmation at the end of the registration as proof. Please note that your registration is not complete until we receive a payment for the application fee ($25). Your placement on the process list will be determined based on the time we receive your application fee payment

Upon confirmation of availability of a spot for your little one, you will be notified to proceed to STEP 2 of the admission process. 

Please note:

  1. There is a one-time, non-refundable $25.00 application fee to apply for admission to cover processing. 

  2. Admission applications are valid for the year they are submitted for and if a spot is unavailable can be extended with a written request at no additional charge.

  3. Admission is on a first come first served basis.

  4. Cut-off date for Age Determination: Students will only be registered into the grade based on their birth-date. Ex: All JK students must be 4 years old by Dec.31st of the year they are being admitted.

  5. Students with Special Needs : The learning Garden does not have the facilities to accommodate special need students (children with learning and physical disabilities).

  6. Academic Criteria for Grades 1-3: Students coming from other schools must have an overall C+ average in core subjects (Math and English) in their most recent reports cards or must successfully pass an assessment test.

  7. All applicable applicants will be required to provide previous report cards to be considered for admission. As applicable, applicants may need to pass an assessment test in order to be admitted.

  8. Upon admitted, all new students will be automatically put on a two months probation period.

  9. All information provided must be correct and true; otherwise, the registration is void.

Upon confirmation of a spot availability for your learner , a notification email will be sent to submit required documents to determine eligibility for admissions. At this point, students may be called in for an admission test, an interview, and/or to submit reference letters, report cards from their school if currently enrolled.

Learners will be notified of their admission status. If admitted, parents/guardians will be issued a portal log-in and will be required to complete the online Registration Forms along with paying the Registration Fee
